Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Javen Brown from Van Horn. Brown plays football and is a sacker and cart pusher at the McCeever’s Price Chopper at 23rd and Sterling in Independence. Brown also volunteered working on landscaping at an elementary school this summer.
His manager said of hm:
“We enjoy working with Javen. He is always smiling and helpful.”
