Cris Ferrer ran for three touchdowns and accounted for 187 total yards to lead the visiting Yellowjackets (3-0).

The senior running back had touchdowns in each of the first three quarters and finished with 115 yards on the ground to go with a 49-yard reception and a 23-yard kickoff return.

Quarterback Jeese Stills was an efficient 7-for-10 for 149 yards and a 52-yard touchdown pass to Jamal Winters for Center.

Oak Grove (1-2) managed just 166 yards of offense with two turnovers and just 2 of 10 on third or fourth down.

Lawson 40, West Platte 14
Lawson quarterback Andrew Stephens had a 21-yard touchdown run to go with a touchdown pass, and Cade Killingsworth ran for two first-quarter touchdowns as the host Cardinals surged to a 40-0 lead over their KCI Conference rivals.

Clayton Siebert had a 45-yard punt-return touchdown for Lawson, (2-1, 1-0).

Big play, fourth-quarter touchdowns from Brandon James (52-yard rushing TD) and Luke Heili-to-Brayden Cogan (30-yard reception) put the Bluejays (1-2, 0-1) on the scoreboard for the final margin.

North Kansas City 56, Ruskin 6
The visiting Hornets (3-0, 2-0 Suburban White) scored 28 points in the first quarter and led 49-6 by halftime against overmatched Ruskin (1-2, 1-1).

NKC has a 28-point average margin of victory through the first three weeks.

Raytown 57, Raytown South 16
Led by big rushing nights by Dontae Manning (three touchdowns and 103 yards rushing) and Isaiah Mims (two TDs and 122 yards), the host Bluejays throttled their cross-town rivals.

Manning, a senior four-star recruit pursued by Texas A&M and Oklahoma, among others, was responsible for Raytown’s first three touchdowns.

Raytown (2-1) averaged nearly nine yards per carry on the way to 328 rushing yards while limiting the Cardinals (1-2) to fewer than 200 total yards of offense.

St. Pius X 35, Cameron 28
Dominic Bjork’s 40-yard, third-quarter touchdown pass to Robbie Sharp -- Bjork added the PAT -- broke the 28-all tie and sent the visiting Dragons up Interstate 35 with their first loss of the season.

Bjork and fellow quarterback Jack Mosh combined for four touchdowns and 306 yards passing for SPX (2-1, 1-0 Midland Empire). Receiver David Deters corralled 111 of those yards through the air, while Sharp added a touchdown rushing.

Cameron QB Tyler Campbell passed for three touchdowns and ran for the third-quarter equalizer that made it 28-28. His TD pass to Bryson Speer gave Cameron (2-1, 0-1) its only lead at 21-20.
