Kansas Week 7 rankings

There was lots of movement in this week’s Kansas rankings. Lawrence Free State and St. James make the biggest moves for Metro teams this week.
 
Free State moved into the top spot in 6A with its win over Shawnee Mission East combined with former No. 1 Derby’s loss to Hutchinson.
 
In 5A St. Thomas Aquinas fell to No. 5 after its last-second loss to Blue Valley.
 
St. James Academy makes its first appearance in the rankings this season moving in at No. 4 in 4A after its come-from-behind win over Eudora. The Thunder are 6-0 as district play begins.
