Richmond leads strong MRVC East team
By PrepsKC staff When a team in your conference goes undefeated and wins a state title it makes you feel pretty good. When five of the six teams make the playoffs and all win at least one game it shows the overall strength of the league. The Missouri River Valley East Conference can boast that it has the Class 3 state champion Richmond, but Lafayette County, Holden, Lexington and Carrollton all made the playoffs and finished with a 5-4 record. The Spartans were the dominant team in 2010 but the strength of their conference helped them to their 15-0 record and the title. Richmond’s strong season led the way on the all-conference team with 11 spots on the first team. First Team Offense Offensive Line Kevin Kepharts, Holden, sr. Alex Luman, Richmond, jr.
