Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
The first Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Elizabeth Palmer who swims, runs track and plays softball at Smithville High School. She also is a member of the student council and works on community fundraisers to help her school
She is a cashier at the Smithville Price Chopper and enjoys the customers and getting to know people. The store manager said of Palmer:
“Elizabeth is a fantastic employee here at Price Chopper. Always has a great attitude and is willing to help out whenever at wherever we need her.”
