The semifinalists for the 39th Annual Thomas A. Simone Awards have been announced. The semifinalists are the group of 10 that were voted on by the Simone Media Committee and will be voted on by coaches on both sides of the state line from the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association.
The final four in each category will be announced during Sunday Sound Off on KSHB 41 Sunday, Nov. 28. The winners for the following awards will be announced during the KSHB 41 6 p.m. newscasts on the following dates:
Monday, Nov. 29 – Otis Taylor Award
Tuesday, Nov. 30 – Bobby Bell Award
Wednesday, Dec. 1 – Buck Buchanan Award
Wednesday, Dec. 2 – Frank Fontana Award
The Simone Award will be awarded Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the winner’s high school.
